Originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina, Kirbi is an alumna of the College of Charleston, where she majored in European Studies and Political Science.  While at the College of Charleston, she was involved in Campus Outreach and volunteered as a Cougar Ambassador.  After graduating Cum Laude from the College of Charleston, Kirbi worked for almost two years for a digital content company located in Charleston, South Carolina.  There, she held such positions as Social Media Specialist and Account Executive, working primarily in digital and social media content creation for a variety of clients. 

 

Currently, Kirbi is pursuing a law degree at the Elon University School of Law, located in Greensboro, North Carolina.  At law school, she has participated in the Women’s Law Society and recently been elected to the Public Interest Law Society’s Board as the Communications Chair. She is particularly interested in international public interest law and immigration law.  

 

At Ahn Law Firm, she works as a Summer Associate & Law Clerk, assisting the law firm’s legal team in handling immigration petitions, contract disputes, discrimination lawsuits, and other civil litigation matters.
